Woodforest Golf Club—originally Fish Creek Golf Club—was designed and built by former PGA Pro Steve Elkington in 2001. Since the change of ownership in 2003, Woodforest has been lauded as one of the best golf clubs in the greater Houston area and has been consistently recognized for its pristine grounds and scenic course. Throughout the years, Woodforest has hosted a variety of prestigious Texas Golf Association tournaments and qualifiers, including the State Amateur Qualifier, Mid-Am Qualifier, State Senior 4-Ball Championship, and TGA Legends Junior Tour tournaments.
As of September 1, 2020, Woodforest transitioned from a public to a private golf club. Despite this change, our vision for the future remains largely the same; we are, and always will be, focused on providing members with the best 27-hole golf course in the greater Houston area. In addition to the course, our members enjoy access to 500,000 square feet of hitting and chipping areas, our state-of-the-art Training Center, the acclaimed Woodforest Grille, and a variety of continuously-improved amenities and capital improvements.
